The restaurant is named after the head chef, Tassia, (Polychronis’ sister) who is a quite the celebrity. “Tassia”s restaurant owns its notorious reputation to Tassia Dendrinou who is a well-known chef, author of two best seller cooking books with Greek traditional recipes and famous TV persona from her many appearances as special guest in several TV shows.
